Memorial Homecare
“Home” can
be one of the best environments for patients
recovering from an illness and/or injury.
Memorial Health System of East Texas understands
the importance of a familiar healing environment
and is pleased to offer East Texans an
alternative to lengthy hospital stays.
Homecare is
a hospital-based home health service that
provides a viable alternative to prolonged
inpatient hospital stays. It is a separately
licensed and certified Home Health care Agency,

can be adequately and safely met in the home.
-
The services must be
reasonable and necessary.
Medicare
Requirements for Payment
Medicare and
Medicaid will cover the cost of Homecare if the
following conditions are met in addition to the
general qualifications.
