Rehabilitation
The mission of Memorial Health
System of East Texas’ Rehabilitation Program is to
provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for
moving a patient through the continuum of care from
acute care to outpatient services and maximize our
patient’s quality of life and level of function.
Our facilities have been thoughtfully designed and
equipped with the latest technology to meet the
needs of or patients.
Persons served by the
Rehabilitation Programs include but are not limited
to those with diagnosis of stroke, brain
dysfunction/injury, neurological conditions,
cardiac, amputation of limbs, arthritis, pain,
orthopedic diagnosis such as total hip/knee,
pelvic/ankle/multiple limb fractures, generalized
debility, wound care diagnosis, and spinal cord
injury. Included also are those with a broad
spectrum of limitations in activity such as eating,
dressing, self-care, mobility, communication,
cognition, strength, endurance, balance and
coordination.
